Why re-encode instead of copy?

Stream copy snaps to keyframes and often misses your exact in/out. We re-encode so the cut matches what you typed.

Max length?

Browser RAM. For multi-hour VODs, cut on a desktop editor or send the VOD to Clip Farm for auto moments.
